Thanks for your question, Bill. Dollar Tree has dishwashing pans that fit perfectly. That kind of solution (dishpans) seems to be the litter box of choice. I got the idea at a local cat show, when I saw hundreds of rather large contestants using teeny plastic dishpans for their litter boxes. I even saw turkey baking pans used. Let me know if you discover any other idea!

These are working great but I do have one question. Hard to find a litter box that will fit into the meow space. Any recommendations?

Thank you for singing Laura's praises! She was an angel in my life too. Laura introduced me to Murray when she worked at the shelter. I went every weekend for a month looking for a companion for my recently diagnosed FIV+ cat Sparky. However I wasn't bonding with any of the cats. During that time my fiance left me and it became sadder and more important to chose the right companion. She insisted Murray would be a good match for us. Murray had become so depressed at the shelter it was hard to tell who he was. But she was right. Within months his real self bloomed. He was one of the most sentient, patient, funny, mischievous and present beings I've ever known. He's been gone for over a year and we all miss him terribly. Laura became a friend and I'll always be thankful to her for guiding me through a terrible time and finding love in the form of Murray.

This looks like a great product. I have been searching for something to keep my Yellow Lab, Monty, out of my cat, Hank's, second litter box. Unfortunately, being my only source of income is SSI because I am in a wheelchair, all of these various cat litter box enclosures/cabinets being over $100.00 they are something I can't afford. I don't have anyone to help me cut a hole in a regular plastic bin. I only have the use of my left hand. Any suggestions for those of us that these wonderful products that are financially out of reach? It is difficult to chase Monty out of the litter boxes. I just want peace of mind for Hank and I and I don't want Monty to get sick.

Hi, thanks for your inquiry. I think you are right on with your assessment. If you find you want an extra MeowSpace later, you can always get it. And...you might get the three and tweak what you do with them, once they've started using them.

Glad we can serve you! Have a wonderful holiday season and New Year, and feel free to call or email with any further questions.

Kind regards,
Casey

I am SO EXCITED to have found this—something I've been dreaming of as a way to keep my herd of five from indulging in each other's food. One of my cats is grossly obese and one is too thin—I suspect the hierarchy contributes to this.

With five cats each needing an individual feeding spot, what would you recommend? I'm already feeding Cat #1 (normal size but picky) up on a table, Cats #2 (geriatric/normal), 3 (normal but expanding) and 4 (obese) like to eat together; and Cat #5 (the skinny one) eats several feet away from 2, 3 and 4. Table Cat #1 doesn't go after other food. Skinny Cat #5 should be isolated so he can eat in peace. Obese Cat #4 won't go up onto the table unless he has to; Geriatric Cat and Normal But Expanding Cat should probably get their own units.

I was thinking three units would do for starters (for Geriatric, Expanding and Skinny), and Table Cat can stay on his table while Obese eats alone on the floor. One magnet, two RFIDs sound about right? Thank you for letting me think out loud, and for making this dream an impending reality!
