Casey Moffett-Chaney
Casey was born in Los Angeles, CA and moved with her parents to Portland, OR in 1967. She attended Woodrow Wilson High School and received a Bachelor of Music in Education from the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music. She taught public school music for 10 years before retiring, and then studied 3 years for the ministry. Casey is the author of two self-improvement books (Pardon My Dust…I’m Remodeling, and Ready, Willing & Terrified, a Coward’s Guide to Risk-Taking), and spent 3 years touring the country, speaking, giving workshops, and giving talk-show interviews. In 1992, she and Berdell pioneered the Portland Center for Spiritual Growth (now called Step 11), a New Thought worship center in Portland, Oregon, where they serve as its ministers.
Berdell Moffett-Chaney
Berdell spent the majority of her childhood living in Laos, Thailand and the Philippines, the daughter of a Marine Corp colonel. She completed her Masters work in Sociology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, then moved to the Portland area with Casey and their one son, Corey. She is an accomplished watercolorist specializing in pet portraits, and her works can be found at www.Berdell.com.

Corey Michael Bruesch
Corey was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, then moved with his moms, Casey & Berdell, to Portland in 1984. He attended Beaverton High School, Whitman College, and Portland State University. Corey loves working with his hands, and currently serves as the Maintenance Tech for a large apartment complex. He is the one who built the first MeowSpace®. Corey now lives in Milwaukie, Oregon with his fiance, Angie, and their three cats, Lita, Neo, and Duke. They enjoy playing World of Warcraft with friends from around the country, and are looking forward to their wedding in May 2012.
Berdell and Casey love working together out of their Portland home, and live with their two cats, Mitchell & Flopsie. They are avid Dragon Boat racers, racquetball players, enjoy walking the various malls around Portland and Vancouver, watch many different television shows, and have become proficient at remodeling and flipping homes. They always had dogs before 2006, when Mitchell adopted them at one of the houses they were remodeling. The two old dogs they had when Mitchell came home with them got along great with him, and when they both passed away, Casey & Berdell adopted Flopsie. That’s when the need for MeowSpace® arose.
